wooden items, scented candles & incense.

All the producers we deal with in Thailand are relatively small and production tends to be small-scale and localized. We have visited or checked nearly all the places our goods are made and are more than happy with the working conditions there.

We do buy from trade shows in Thailand (i.e. without visiting the supplier before we place our first order) but, once a supplier becomes regular - as with any of the suppliers we deal with worldwide - we would aim to have them independently checked against our ethical trade standards.

The products themselves tend to be artisan, using local craft traditions and are more likely to be made of natural materials than plastic. Wood used for carved items and furniture are produced using wood from sustainable forests.

Villages that are able to trade effectively with companies such as Evolution can maintain more of a traditional way of life which helps to keep their communities together.
